Arboretum Adventure

During the summer, my family loves to take mini adventures all around California to discover more of the state we’ve seen so little of.

Sometimes we go all the way up north to explore San Francisco, and sometimes we take the drive to downtown LA (our favorite, if I’m being honest). But usually, we keep it local, going to little gems that are nearby.

On Tuesday, we did just that at the Fullerton Arboretum.

This Is Theresa, My Plant Child

We took my cousin and my grandma that day, because my dad was at work and we knew they’d have fun. I charged up the camera and my phone and we were on our way!

I took a lot of pictures of the beautiful flowers and plants around the trails, some of the most beautiful arrangements I’ve seen. I also took a few falls while trying to get some nice angles.

This was the first of many an adventure this summer. The two days after, my dad was off work and we went on back to back trips. This time, in downtown LA and another Arboretum (another blog post with many pictures to come Friday).
